Cornish Nettle Tea: A wild and wonderful brew, from Cornwall to you

We formulated our Wild Nettle Tea many years ago when we were working long, hard days on our land. In the absence of anything else we would brew up a few Nettles to warm our souls on cold days. We genuinely started to feel more energetic and less achy from all the strenuous labour.

Fast forward 6 years and Nettle Tea is still the cornerstone of everything we produce at the Wild Cornish Tea Co. It’s a lovely, lovely, Herbal Tea. And the health benefits are incredible.

The good news is, now you don’t need to be a survival expert at a campfire sitting cross-legged to enjoy it. We can send our natural Cornish Herbal Tea products to you by post, wherever you are! Our warm Cornish climate means our Nettle clippers are snipping with confidence all year round, to bring you the freshest, most magical, organic Nettle teas. We now sell our stinging Nettle tea in Loose Leaf, and Nettle Tea Bags. We offer a variety of Nettle leaf blends, perfect for sipping all year round.

Why Wild Cornish Nettle Tea? Despite Nettle growing the the abundantly in the UK abundantly, most Nettles aren’t harvested in the UK. You’ll find the majority of UK sellers importing them in from outside England, usually being packed and shipped from Egypt. Our Nettles are grown, picked and packed in Cornwall when they are at their freshest.

  • We pick quality ingredients and keep whole for maximum flavour and freshness.

  • We harvest and dry only the very tops of the Nettle, which are young, vibrant green and absolutely full of nutrients.

  • Our Teas don't hang around!

  • Our Teas are sent out straight after the drying process, retaining as much freshness as possible. Unlike major brands who over-process their leaves, leaving them heavily crushed and dusty. Our Field to Cup strategy aims reduce the environmental and climate impact of production, significantly reducing the air miles travelled by the humble Tea leaf.
