In the heart of India, where tradition and wellness intertwine, Ayurvedic Tea steeps itself in the rich heritage, embraced by an estimated 80% of rural communities. Ayurvedic tea transcends a mere beverage; it embodies a holistic approach to well-being. Ayurveda, the guiding philosophy behind our Ayurvedic tea blends, recognizes the profound influence of three vital energies within us: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Each dosha, as they're called, plays a unique role in shaping our physical and emotional landscape. When balanced, they orchestrate a symphony of harmony within. Ayurvedic Tea, with its carefully curated blend of herbs and spices, seeks to nurture this inner equilibrium. Each sip becomes an invitation to reconnect with your authentic self, fostering a sense of peace and vitality. The Nettle herb increases ojas (our radiance and vitality), making it particularly useful for individuals who are run down from stress, or need extra nourishment during illlness. The top of the plant, the young green nettle leaves, have been used throughout history in food and drinks to nourish and detoxify the body. By stimulating the action of the liver and the kidneys (nettle is a natural diuretic), clearing toxins and wastes from the body via the urinary system. Nettle’s mild astringency and general nourishing action keeps Kapha levels in check, improving overall vitality. We use Nettle to balance many of our Ayurvedic Teas, also Fennel, Ginger and Cinnamon.
